Kids
 Classes

Children have a special place at our Dojo. They are our greatest resource, which must, and are, treated with caring and attention.

Kids karate classes are taught by Sensei Rafael and Sensei Diana, who fosters a safe, fun, participatory environment. Every child is treated with respect by everyone at the Dojo, with an eye towards maximizing his or her potential.

Within this safe and positive environment, the full potential of Karate to make a positive contribution to young students lives is realized. The benefits of Karate classes include:

Focused Physical Activity - So many kids lead inactive lives, spending an inordinate amount of time in front of screens. Karate classes provides kids with a wonderful source of purposed exercise. Kids karate classes are lead by expert martial artists, usually Avi himself, who ensure that every activity has added value beyond the physical training. Learning new techniques, playing games, working on improving capabilties, all ensure that training session are effective, as well as fun.

Discipline - While the environment at the Dojo is relaxed, children in karate classes learn to demand more of themselves by seeing how others behave as well as by seeing the results of their efforts. This new-found discipline helps children in all aspects of their lives, often leading to improved academic performance.

Camaraderie - Students meet new friends while training, becoming a community with a sense of belonging. As students continue their studies they become role models to the younger kids. Older kids transition to adult classes as they become teens, giving them an important anchor in the difficult teen years.

Self-Confidence - As students progress and see that they are able to improve themselves through effort and discipline, their confidence grows. With this increased confidence, their desire to train increases, as does their desire and willingness to take up other life challenges.

Individual Attention - Every child is unique. Accordingly, each student requires, and receives, personal attention to ensure that they’re understanding and assimilating the lessons effectively.
